PRO Sustainability BP Crop Science

Task and Responsabilities:

• Represent PRO Sustainability topics to the Crop Science Procurement Area

• Lead the integration of sustainability topics, criteria, and processes into sourcing decisions from an operational point of view and support the Sustainability Topic Owners during implementation (driving dialogue with the PAs / continuous involvement of the PAs, etc.)

• Leading, planning and conducting knowledge sharing & dialogues (i.e., workshops, information sessions, champions networks, etc.) with sourcing & supplier communities to get on-going dedication to the sustainability topics while using PRO Sustainability one-channel-approach.

• Ensure that Crop Science categories fully embed sustainability in a tailored approach as part of the category strategies

• Responsible for the overall architecture of the joint Sustainability plan for Crop Science in alignment with the Topic Owners and the demands of the PA

• Support ongoing review of supplier sustainability performance improvements and ensure corrective action plans are fulfilled

• Collaborate with PA teams on relevant sustainability topics

• Establish Sustainability best practice exchange across all Procurement Areas as well as all PRO Sustainability Business Partners

• Contribute to Bayer's Sustainability Strategy ambitions and annual report targets on Sustainability evaluations

• Be seen as a key partner to the Crop Science PA with regular participation in team meetings, town halls, etc.

• Understand and bring the demands of the Crop Science PA to the PRO Sustainability team and help in crafting content which is needed to meet the needs of the PA and further the attainment of the sustainability goals

• Support identification of sustainability supplier development (SSD) priorities within the PAs and supplier base and feedback as input for continuous improvements, via intensive information exchange.

Who You Are:

• BS/BA or MBA/MS preferred and a minimum of 8-10 years of professional business experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; focus on procurement beneficial Excellent social, interpersonal, and intercultural communication skills and strong leadership and organizational change skills
Experience in Procurement

• Experience leading cross-functional / cross-divisional international teams
Passion for Sustainability

• Acceptance of continuous improvement and ability to inspire change
Strong capabilities in influencing without-authority, Result oriented and persistent

• High intercultural awareness and experience in working across country and company cultures

• High proficiency level in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus

• Able to work in a global and virtual working environment - International Business travel may apply
